Hi there! My name is Selena (she/her), and I'm the newest overnight sitter at Your Denver Sitter.

It comes as no surprise, but animals are my passion! Growing up, my family had a myriad of dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters and guinea pigs. A huge part of my life was riding horses and competing in various shows.

I am originally from Santa Cruz, California, and moved to San Diego for college. When the pandemic hit, I spent about 2.5 years working on a dude ranch in Jackson Hole, where I took care of a herd of 50+ horses, mules, and donkeys!

Since moving to Denver in 2023, I have had the opportunity to to dog- and cat-sit for friends, but I am so excited to partner with Your Denver Sitter and meet even more furry friends! 

I will be helping with overnight house and pet sitting and weekend visits and dog walks as needed. I can’t wait to to meet you and your fur family!

"Hey there! My name is Austin (she/they), and I am so excited to join the team and spend my days with your sweet animals. 

I've been in the pet care, training, and animal welfare industry since 2012, when I moved to Colorado and started as a dog walker and sitter. And if you really want to take it back to 7-year-old Austin, I used to walk the dogs in my neighborhood for $1 a walk—what a simple time! 

In 2015, I began training as a dog trainer and behaviorist; shortly after, I adopted my dog, Miles, who keeps me on my toes even at nine. In our off time, we are most often in the mountains, enjoying a hike, run, or swim.

After many years of training and learning, in 2022, I started working for a local dog rescue here in CO as the foster coordinator, med tech, and behaviorist; it has been an incredibly rewarding and remarkable career! These roles centered around time with animals and nature, so I couldn't have been luckier. 

I will be the primary dog walker and other pet visit sitter, as well as occasionally helping with overnights!"

"Hi all! My name is Kendall and I have worked in hospitality, non-profit, and government consulting industries for about 10 years. I’ve lived in Boulder and Denver for 8 years as well. After pet sitting for the majority of my time in Denver with dogs of all different sizes and breeds I decided to finally get my own. 

I got Padme at 8 weeks old and she has been the most amazing little nugget I could ever ask for! She’s a mini Bernedoodle, about 37 pounds, 8 months old, and has an extremely loving personality for both human and dogs. She has good awareness of when another dog is tired or doesn’t want to play, loves sharing but also respects boundaries, and is very house trained. She’s happiest when another dog is around, as am I, as we both love playing and giving them attention.

I will be primarily helping with walks and drop in visits during the week. I would love to help with overnights, as long as Padme can join, too!"
